Exhibit Design - Studio Project

Project details

This design studio project engaged the students in developing a 10’x20’x8′ exhibit for a company/product of their choosing.  Students were required to develop mood boards demonstration their understanding of the brand of the company/product in order to frame the developed construction.  Simultaneously students were introduced to modeling and rendering software for 3D representation as well as 2D graphic tools (Adobe) to support diagramming and presentation production.  Additionally, the students were required to develop a full scale build element that demonstrated how some portion of the project would be assembled and fabricated (also developing the support diagrams).

To support their analysis of the space they were given, I develop a view shed occlusion test in grasshopper so they could assess the view of key features in their design in different station points in the overall exhibition hall environment.

contribution
